The garden has been coming along and we have an abundance of fresh herbs and spinach growing.
Lovely fresh spinach from our garden!
We used the spinach in our Greek inspired dish called Spanakopita. It is made with filo pastry, feta cheese, ricotta, dill and shallots. The children loved it!!
Fresh basil from our garden!
The students used the fresh basil to make a topping for bruschetta. We were also focussing on knife skills and safety while we sliced our tomatoes. I was impressed with how well the students used the knives.
